This stage's main goal is to combine sailing, hiking and sightseeing of Norwegian fiords. Our journey will begin in Gdańsk, where we will set sail on a direct route to Skagen, a town located at the very Northern cape of Denmark. After a short break we will sail to Stavanger, where our adventure with fiords will begin. We will sail through the one of the most scenic Norwegian fiords, Lysefjord, surrounded in all its length by granite rocks sloping almost completely vertically to the sea. After passing the Hengjanefossen waterfall and the famous 600 meter cliff Preikestolen, in English also known as Preacher's Pulpit or Pulpit Rock, we will arrive at the picturesque village of Lysebotn. Since we love not only the sea but also the mountains, we will also make a trip to Kjerag mountain, where you can admire a beautiful view of a located there fiord. We will climb over 1000 meters AMSL. This effort will be rewarded with amazing views of the surounding nature and the possibility of taking photos while standing on) Kjeragbolten, a 5 m³ boulder wedged in a mountain crevasse by the edge of the Kjerag mountain. Later, we will explore the beauty of Hardangerfjord. We will visit the Folgefonna glacier, situated on a peninsula of the same name, between Sofjord to the East, Akrafjord to the South and Hardangerfjord to the West, in Hordaland county. It is the third largest Norwegian land glacier and also the largest of the three glaciers forming Folgefonna. Next we will visit Sunndal village, West from the glacier, where we will have the opprotunity to take a walk by the scenic lake adjacent to the glacier. If we decide to sail to Oddafjord, we will definitely take the time to climb to it's top. From the village of Skjeggedal, in Odda municipality, you can walk (it takes an approx. 6 hours) to a boulder called Trolltunga (Troll's Tongue), a piece of rock that protrudes out of the mountain high above the village. The final point of this stage will be the town of Bergen. Without a doubt we will visit Bryggen, the historical district of the city, and also the city's famous fish market. If only time allows, we might also visit the local sealife exhibition or use the railway to get to Floyen mountain that overlooks Bergen, where you can admire a beautiful view of the city and its surroundings. This is, of course, the most extended variant of our plan. All stops at harbours will be planned ad hoc, according to forecasts and weather conditions. We planned this stage to experience what is most beautiful in Norway, a country renowned for it's staggering landscapes combining breathtaking mountain ranges with the astonishing beauty of the sea.
