Cruise "Through the Green Islands" - Greenland 2015

 

Cruise "Greenland 2015" is a continuation of our three-year expedition "Through the Green Islands". This time it starts uncharacteristically, in Albuferia , located in the hot southern coast  of Portugal, Algarve.  First longest  leg  will take nearly 2,500 Nm, through  evergreen Madeira to  Azores to and it will be finished  at May in Narsarsuag. west south of Greenland. Then, in the subsequent stages of consistently we will keep going north. Depends  weather and ice condition  we will  turn back , hopefully visiting  Thule (Qanaaq) and  with the passage of the polar summer we will begin our return route. Along the way it will be in Reykjavik, Faroe Islands, Lerwick and Dublin and finally to Lymington in the English Channel. Autumn is the go through the Bay of Biscay to the winter dock again in the already well-known to us Albuferia marina.
